T Tattvas - The five elements in increasing density, from the subtlest to the most tangible: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Water.
Ten Bodies - The ten vehicles that the spirit takes on to have a human experience, they constitute the whole human being. Each body has its own quality, virtue and realm of action: 1. Soul - Humility, creativity 2. Negative Mind - Obedience, cautiousness. 3. Positive Mind - Equality, optimism. 4. Neutral Mind - Service, neutrality. 5. Physical Body - Self-sacrifice, teacher 6. Arc Line/Halo - Justice, focus, nurturing. 7. Aura - Mercy, uplifting. 8. Pranic Body - Purity, fearlessness. 9. Subtle Body - Calmness, endurance and mastery over mystery. 10. Radiant Body - Purity, royal courage, undefeatable.
Third Eye - Center of consciousness related to the sixth chakra and located at a point on the forehead between the eyebrows. Associated with the functioning of the pituitary gland, it gives insight and intuition.
U Unconscious Mind - Realm of automatic habits of the mind that we are not conscious of, which generates thoughts and feelings.
Universal Mind - The entire spectrum of mental existence in the universe in whatever form. Transcendental in nature.
Upper Palate Meridian Points - The eighty-four meridian points located on the upper palate, below the hypothalamus and along the gums. Through the precise rhythm and pattern of mantras, the tongue siimulates these meridian points, stimulating the hypothalamus to direct pituitary gland secretions that change the chemical composition of the brain, creating a more balanced and aware state of mind.
V Vak Siddhi - Yogic power of the word, where what one says happens.
Venus Lock - One of the basic mudras of Kundalini Yoga. Used to channelize sexual energy and to promote glandular balance; it brings the ability to concentrate during meditation. To do: Interlace the fingers with the left little finger on the bottom. Put the left thumb tip just above the base of the thumb on the webbing between the thumb and index finger. The pad of the right thumb presses the fleshy "Venus" mound at the base of the thumb. Finger positions are reversed for women.
Vishnu - God, the Preserver. One of the Gods of the Hindu trinity, along with Brahma, the Creator, and Shiva, the Destroyer.
W Wah-hay Guru - Wow! God is Great! A mantra of ecstasy expressing the indescribable magnificence of the experience of God. Known as the Guru Mantra.

Y Yoga - Union; the science of uniting individual consciousness with universal consciousnes.
Yogi - One who has attained a state of yoga where the polarities are mastered and transcended; one who practices the disciplines of yoga and has attained self-mastery.
Yogi Tea - A spicey yogic tonic made by first boiling together cinnamon sticks, ginger root, cardamon pods, black pepper corns and cloves, then adding a small amount of black tea and returning to a boil with milk. It may also be taken as a tonic cold, without milk, first thing in the morning.
