Takht Hazur Sahib Yatra

Going on the Hazur Sahib Yatra with members of the Sikh Dharma Khalsa Council (of which I am not a member) was a spiritual quest for me. Guru Gobind Singh's energy has directly impacted my life through an ongoing process of bestowing gifts and sacred realizations.

Until Guru Gobind Singh interceded, Sat Kriya was used to wash everything from my daycare, the proposal for a new Yoga Gems publishing contract, personal relationships, my livestock's health--whatever needed cleansing or healing, with practical, vastly played-out results.

A couple years ago, when the Gurus first started converging on my meditations, I asked that they approach me one by one so I could sort out what they each wished to share with me. When I came upon Guru Gobind Singh, what he did was startling and beyond my understanding--standing in the cosmos he balanced the planet earth upon the tip of his sword. No explanation was given.

Many months later while doing Sat Kriya using the Golden Temple as a washing machine, I was surprised to see Guru Gobind Singh place an image of the earth on the tips of my fingers. It did not make sense at first, until I recalled the sword incident, at which point I saw how the straight upward reach of my arms, palm to palm in Sat Kriya resembles Guru's Khanda. The slight, powerful up and down movement of my arms from my shoulders creates a surging gurgitation Tapa that washes the laundry--in this case he had me washing the earth!

At the time my meditative laundry was going right from the wash to a rinse cycle. But on this day, Guru Gobind Singh had me put the earth through a wringing-out phase, which exuded huge black globs of guck, sweeping me away with it! I pleaded with the Guru to pull me out. He reminded me to silently chant the mantra Yogiji gave me, which I was to do continuously, silently, as fast as I could twenty-four hours a day--Ik Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad, Sat Gur Prasad, Ik Ong Kar. With this mantra's cleansing flow I was immediately cleared of darkness.

Because of such deep personal experiences with the Guru, the Yatra to Hazur Sahib was a very sacred opportunity for me to intuitively explore Gurdwaras and sacred sites Guru Gobind Singh ji and I visited in that lifetime. In so doing, I came to a natural, blessed understanding of the purpose and present reality of my continuing destiny.
