Since I was a child I have had a love for Mother Earth so deep and sublime that I feel at one with her. I have expressed it over the years by meditating in a secret room within a bush, seeing nature images in clouds, feeling like an Amazon maiden throwing reed spears in a canyon, planting gardens and trees, recycling, hiking, camping, sailing at one with the wind and sea, taking on the care of lizards, turtles rabbits, stray cats and dogs, a stable of gaited Saddlebred horses, chickens, geese, ducks, guinea hens, rabbits and Baby Doll lambs. And through poetry and prose and deep, prayerful meditation to bless and lovingly wash the world.
There are many ways for to express our love and care for the earth, which sustains us all. Enjoy my posts in this section and also share your personal experiences and traditions. We all have much to learn from each others Mother Earth love and wisdom.
