Psychic Insights

From MEMOIRS OF A YOGINI

Soon after my marriage to a childhood friend, newly given the name "Wahe Guru Singh" by Yogi Bhajan, my otherwise beautiful husband told me that he was on medication for suicidal tendencies. I was stunned, but it helped me have compassion for him when he lost his temper or neglected tall stacks of mail, and I appreciated that he was honest and open with me.

Wahe Guru Singh offered me a thoughtful antidote to these dramas for my birthday—a psychic communication session with Hazel, a local mystic. She is a lovely person, beautiful within and without, and innocently clear in her visions and psychic insights.

As she described spirits she saw in my aura she said, “Your guides are very polite, loving and considerate.”

“They are the Sikh Gurus and Bhagats of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib,” I told her. That was easy to see!

“And, too, a powerful, dark-skinned woman and an ascetic yogi.”

“You are seeing the Adi Shakti and Baba Sri Chand. They are in my aura.”

There are so many, and have so much information to give you that they have decided to line-up and wait turns. They are asking you if this is okay. Especially if it is okay with you that they talk to you, for they acknowledge that you want to talk directly with the Supreme Lord. They are like priests.

Hazel added, “It is windy, dry and dusty on the road they wait on. I see many mystical creatures, not at all what I am used to.” She tried to explain, “Other clients have ‘normal guides.’ One of yours is prancing around in the distance like a lion-horse! It is reddish in color.”

I implored, “Kindly get them past formalities of apologizing to me, lining up and asking permissions, and talk with me. Let’s do it!”

Hazel said, “They say they just want to make sure it is alright with you in case they say something you do not want to hear.”

I apologized, almost in tears. “I made them feel they are not welcome by seeming to be unreceptive to their way.”

“They accept your apology.”

So we began.

Hazel quietly, astonished, told me, “There is a radiant saintly warrior on a horse with something on his head and across his shoulders.”

I asked, “Does he have a hawk with him?”

Hazel said, “Yes.”

“Is he wearing a turban?”

“Yes.”

“It is Guru Gobind Singh, my true father.”

“He is giving you a package, and has placed it before you.”

I did not know what to think or how to approach this until Hazel showed me how big it was and told me to open it. I imaginatively flicked the package open.

“Something just flew out!” Hazel exclaimed.

The fluttering motion was visible to me, and the bird to the mystic. I asked, “Is it white? A dove?”

“Yes!”

At that moment, I saw it!

“Guru Gobind Singh says it is your wedding gift. What do you feel it represents?”

I described my psychic insights, “Guru Gobind Singh’s hawk used to fly out and find the enemy and return to tell Guru Gobind Singh’s horse where to go. My dove will find Peace. This gift is a blessing and assurance for Community Peace Prayer Day.”

“Yes!”

I had told Hazel of our planned monthly community prayer days, Golden Temple journeying, my Rakhi Bhai, my daughter Adi Shakti, my toe problem and of my and Wahe Guru Singh’s story.

Actually, I told her our story first, while she first gently massaged me, tuning in, and asked to know it. From that flowed her visions and pychic insights into what Wahe Guru Singh is going through:

“He looks gray, surrounded by light and joy but not seeing it. He sees gray. I see him wearing a Victorian mode gray suit. It is too small for him, a bit tattered. His worries come from a past life when he was forced into poverty by betrayals. He also feels that the universe is out to get him. That is Pluto’s influence. His worry about money is not a reality.

You and I know this, and the spirits are laughing at it. You must not pressure him in any way. Be  like the Siri Singh Sahib. Wahe Guru Singh needs to meditate to come out of it but it is not your job to prompt him to do the Wahe Guru meditation or hang over him about it.”

Hazel put it to me politely and succinctly until I politely and succinctly agreed with her!

She continued, “The reasons you two are together, the nature of your destiny together, is being revealed to you in daily life and routines. Peace Prayer Day will happen. It will start slow and be small, but become very important.

Your jobs are open for you to decide. Working at the Head Start school is a low vibration compared to what you could do if you started your own school. It would be much more fun and free for you. The spirits are noting that you have lots to offer as a teacher and that this would be good for you to do. Children in the community are waiting, and their parents want to send them to you, Sikh children, too. Once you get it rolling funding will come. You have not to worry.

The Golden Temple that you visit by journeying is in another plane, the Energy of Light Realm, the same as your spirit guides. This realm is where you spend a lot of time. That is why you are able to go there so easily.”

“Yes, I sit in the inner circle in the Court of Lord.”

The next day Wahe Guru Singh found the piece of paper that my pyschic insights with Hazel were scribbled upon. It had dropped from my Nitnem prayer book and fallen into the back seat of his car. "Did you lose this?" he asked.

There was no sign he had absorbed its significance.
