In my meditations with the Gurus, I have been given a simple, natural way of achieving the non-attached state I am now in. You who read this do not have to go through the intense yogic practice I have gone through. In fact time is too short--the new millennium is upon us. Out of my profound longing the Guru bestowed upon me, upon all of us, the “I AM YOU, YOU ARE ME” meditation. We may receive guidance on the spiritual path by using this mantra to call upon the Divine with our breath. Feel divinely connected at evey moment, use the mantra at the slightest sense of duality. Breathe it to merge with spirit, with God or any manifestation of God--there are so many names, all One, all enlightening.
The Ten Sikh Gurus
1. Guru Nanak
2. Guru Angad 3. Guru Amar Das 4. Guru Ram Das 5. Guru Arjan 6. Guru Hargobind 7. Guru Har Rai 8. Guru Har Krishan
Divine spirits are purity.
They are blissful, all-wise and serviceful. And want to merge with you.
As
"Pawan Guru" they are the "air element",
Breathe them into
yourself:
Choose a Divine Being you wish to
merge with, Inhale the intention, "I am you." Hold the breath
briefly, feel it, Exhale your combined essence with love, "You are
me," to the Divine.
Continue breathing Spirit Until you feel a divine presence filling you With instantaneous Grace. It
occurs when you least expect it And is exquisite to behold.
Continuing
breathing love to merge in love.
Live and breathe the mantra in everything you do, Every routine, every sacred act, Every imaginable human way.
"I AM YOU" .............."YOU ARE ME"
Picking up a dirty dish.......Washing it and setting it in the dish rack.
Choosing a seed.......Putting it in a hole and covering it with soil.
Chewing and swallowing food to the mantra over and over again.
Ladeling tea from a big pot.......Pouring it into a container.
Reaching for a bead on a Mala... ...Pulling the bead toward you.
Cutting grass with a scythe... ...Placing the grass into a carrying bag.
The field of grass represents the Divine's natural expanse, The
bag, your body shell. Your every motion expresses the mantra's meaning. Consciously breathing the mantra
Profoundly deepens your experience. Such a union with the Divine Cannot be torn asunder. It is silent Precious And Eternally Sacred.
We already are who we are going to become. Stop looking, Stop trying! Just be you A true incarnation Of Divine!
We all have the same link To a conscious connection with God, Our Life Breath. Practice conscious breathing At all times With every movement.
When in a public place Do the mantra for everyone around you To merge Fearlessly, Same in an airport As in a temple, For the whole world, The Cosmos-- "We are you, You are Us" Breathing the Divine into all, All into the Divine. People feel it. They do not need to know Where it is coming from. They are It.
The more you breathe this mantra The more a divine presence Will rarefy your breath, The light in your eyes, The power and sweetness of your speech And your grace of movement. All becomes effortless. Such union with the Divine Cannot be torn asunder. It is silent, Precious and Eternally Sacred.
I am not higher or lower than anyone. I am You-- A human being With the same mechanisms Of higher consciousness At our disposal.
The New Age is upon us. There is not time To do six years of Sat Kriya, So Darshan Chakra Kriya And the Ten Body Meditation To heal the world. Just call on the Gurus and saints And let them do it. They will come through. That is all I do... Allow.
There is no time There are no steps No outline. When you take one step towards a Divine Being The Divine Being takes millions of steps towards you. It
is that simple. Drop emotional and intellectual agendas and pride Lean on God and your breath instead, The Divine will take care of your affairs.
You have to want to leave your safe plateau and take That first step. Just breathe consciously. You wil feel connected. It is not the life that matters But the courage you bring to it.
Taking
a step towards the Divine Is as simple as choosing between living With shallow
values or living righteously, Attached to things or attached to your
purity. It is as effortless as calling upon a spiritual guide To support your reach In prayer and meditation, Allowing their blessings to prevail. It is as simple and profound as taking a
Hukam, A random reading from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, And
taking it fully to heart.
As in the True Guru's guidance From the Golden Temple of Amritsar On the day of this writing:
--Raag Suhi, Fifth Guru, Siri Guru Granth Sahib, page 741
One who remains dead while yet alive (gets out of the way, allows…) understands God.
He meets the humble beings according to the karma of his past actions.
Listen, O friend - this is how to cross over the terrifying world-ocean:
Meet with the Holy, and chant the Lord's Name.
There is no other to know, except for the One Lord. So realize that the Supreme Lord God is within each and every heart.
Whatever He does, accept that as good.
Know the value of the beginning and the end.
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to that humble being, within whose heart the Lord dwells.
